Tree Lighting Ceremony
The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Stayner Station Park was well attended in December. The children were very happy to see Santa, and Santa himself was joyed to listed to their requests. Thank you to the local Gulley Girls who led everyone in the caroling, it was a wonderful night. See you all again next year!
Stayner Lights Up Christmas
Thank you to all of the businesses who took part in the very first Stayner Lights Up Christmas, and in conjunction, the First Annual Christmas Window Decorating Competition. Congratulations to the three winners of the window decorating contest:
1st Place: Amy's Espresso Bar and Cakery - $100
2nd Place: Stayner Town and Country - $75
3rd Place: Stayner Home Hardware - $50
The Stayner Chamber of Commerce donated the prize money, which in turn was donated to the Stayner Food Bank in the names of the winners.

Georgian Bay Dance Festival ~ Gala Performance
The DanceRoom in Stayner and the Georgian Bay School of Dance in Midland invite you to attend the Georgian Bay Dance Festival’s Gala Performance. The winning dance numbers from the Georgian Bay Dance Festival, put on by these two studios, will be performing in a fundraiser for The Orillia Opera House. Come and enjoy and afternoon of dance in support of the arts on Sunday January 28th from 2:30 pm – 5:00 p.m at the Orillia Opera House. All Tickets are $15.00. Next Chamber Meeting
You don’t have to be a member to come to a Chamber meeting. Bring your curiosity, suggestions and ideas and join us at the next meeting this Wednesday January 24th at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers, 217 Gideon St. in Stayner. All subsequent meetings will be on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the same time.
