Clearview Township Council approved road closures on Thursdays from 3pm-9pm, specifically at Huron St. and Highway 26 and Gideon and Huron St. We would like to reduce as much impact as possible to the local businesses, however, for safety reasons, it is important that these roads remain closed leading up to and for the duration of the Music, Market and Park It. There is ample parking available on Highway 26, public parking lots located in downtown Stayner and also parking at the Clearview Administration Centre. There are additional accessible parking spots added on Thursday nights on Gideon (by means of portable accessible parking signage). We ask that you take an active approach to notify your customers of the road closures. Signage will be posted each Thursday afternoon by the Tourism staff and Chamber Summer Student and in addition, a friendly reminder will be added to social media posts on Thursdays.
Clearview Township is seeking the support from the Chamber of Commerce to ensure that the Music, Market and Park is safe for patrons and participants. We look forward to our continued cooperation this summer.
