During these uncertain times amid the COVID-19 outbreak, we would like to share some information to help protect you and your business.
Although no confirmed cases of COVID-19 have, as yet, made it quite this far north, there is at least one confirmed case in Barrie and we are now into March Break where families may be traveling to our area. In preparation for the virus hitting our area in the coming days, we would like to remind you of the following steps you can take to keep you and your families as healthy as possible.
- Wash your hands with soap for at least 15 seconds before rinsing
- Avoid touching your face
- Cough into your elbow
- Sanitize your hands often
- Disinfect surfaces often (cash registers, counters, knobs, railings, etc.)
- Keep a distance of 3 to 6 feet from others who are coughing or sneezing
- If you feel unwell, please stay home to prevent the spread of germs to others, especially the elderly and those with compromised immune systems
Below please find some signs you may wish to post in your businesses to help remind patrons of the seriousness of this virus.
We wish you all good health and safe interactions in the coming weeks and months.
