Welcome to new member, Mira Macan of Key Mortgage Partners.



Stayner Market
The Township run Music, Market & Park It was cancelled due to the pandemic, so our Chamber attempted to fill the void by starting our own market. Unfortunately, we could not garner enough vendor interest, so it could not move forward. Instead, please visit the Creemore Farmer's Market every Saturday morning at the Creemore Springs Brewery. The market opens at 8:30 am for pre-ordered online purchases, (www.openfoodnetwork.ca/groups, then pick Creemore Farmers’ Market, and then find your vendors), and 10:00 am to noon for browse shopping. Please wear a mask.
Downtown Stayner Decorations
The windmills are now up in downtown Stayner. Unfortunately, they are higher on the poles than what was preferred but the parking signs prevented them from being lower.

Clearview Chamber Sign
The metal sign that belongs to the Clearview Chamber in front of the Stayner Gazebo now has messages on it.  One side says “SHOP OUR DOWNTOWNS WE ARE OPEN!” and the other says “SHOP, DINE & DISCOVER CLEARVIEW!”.

Clearview Business Crawl Goes Virtual?
The Executive is looking at the idea of setting up a virtual Business Crawl in August/September. The goal would be to advertise and market the participating businesses. The success of this event will rely on the administration of a Facebook group page and assistance will be required.

The concept and ideas for the virtual crawl is below.  The event is not confirmed yet but if you are interested in helping to be a Facebook administrator for the event, or are interested in being a business participant, please contact us at clearviewchamber@gmail.com.  We are still working on the details and whether it will actually take place, but we will keep you posted.

How It Will Work

  • Participating businesses will pay a fee to be part of the Crawl and will also be asked to include an item for a gift basket giveaway
  • 5 businesses are highlighted in each week of the Crawl. Businesses post their own content on the group Facebook page on their designated week
  • Any people who like or comment on a post will be put into a weekly draw for a gift basket composed of the items from those businesses
  • A Facebook Group page will be created for the event 
  • A Facebook administrator will be required in order to run the event and keep track of the ‘likes’, ‘tags’ and ‘shares’ for the draw
  • The aim for the event is mid-August to mid-September
