FUNDING & PROMOTION INITIATIVES
Below is a brief outline of funding and promotional initiatives. FUNDING
The Regional Tourism Organization 7 (RTO7) still has funding available for local businesses to help with expenses related to PPE/COVID 19 Supplies. This fund is worth up to $1000 to cover expenses.
Secondly, RTO7 has funding available for Consumer Confidence Videos as part of their recovery plan. The goal it to help tourism operators/businesses educate visitors on safety and to increase confidence when attending our destination.

Canada United Small Business Relief Fund is back with more funding for a grant of up to $5,000 that can be put towards PPE, renovations to your physical space to adhere to local, Provincial or Federal reopening guidelines, and developed or improved e-commerce capabilities for your business.
Eligible applicants will have, among other things:
• No more than 75 employees.
• Have minimum annual sales of $150,000 and not more than $3,000,000.
• Have $1,000,000 of commercial general liability insurance
• Be in full compliance with all applicable government laws, rules, regulations, guidelines and other legally binding measures (self-declaration).
• Be in operation after September 1, 2020

Taste of Clearview
The Taste of Clearview will launch on October 23 until Nov. 15. There are 21 restaurants, pubs and cafes in Clearview Township. Check out the website www.discoverclearview.ca/taste for details! Enjoy local food & beer pairings in partnership with Creemore Springs Brewery.
Clearview Chamber Business of the Month
This is a free opportunity to promote your business on the Clearview Chamber’s Facebook page. Your business will be featured as the Business of the Month on our page and will be pinned to the top of our page for one month. Digital Main Street
Main Street Relaunch Program! As part of the Future Proof program (in partnership with Communitech, Invest Ottawa and NORCAT) Digital Main Street will be rolling out this Relaunch program over the coming months. It will include
- Main Street Relaunch online course
- 8.5 hours of on-demand video content, curated directly for small business owners. Topics include: Cash Flow Management, Business Operations, Marketing, PR and more.
- Main Street Relaunch training sessions
